Michael Avirom graduated in 1973 with a Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University. He worked for a large surveying firm for a number of years and became a Florida registered surveyor in 1979. He launched his own company in 1981 and his surveying expertise in boundary, aerial control, topography, bathymetric and construction layout has distinguished him as a respected industry professional. His business acumen and commitment to client service has built and ensures Avirom & Associates continued success and excellent reputation. Michael is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

Michael J. Avirom has been in the surveying field since 1994. Engaged in performing boundary, topographic, right-of-way and GPS control survey projects, Mike participates in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers and contractor representatives; assigns and monitors work and provides input for evaluation by the field survey crew. As the Field Crew Chief, he is responsible for collecting field survey data utilizing conventional and Global Positioning System (GPS) methods. In addition, Mike sets up, adjusts and operates surveying equipment including electronic total station, data collector and GPS equipment to measure distances, elevations and angles while also preparing field notes and drawings.  He performs field surveying for boundary, topographic, route-of-line and hydrographic surveys and provides survey information for Geographic Information System (GIS).

Eric Breaux graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Nicholls State University in 1982. His surveying career began in his native state of Louisiana and he joined Avirom & Associates in 1987. He became a Florida registered surveyor in 1999. As a Project Surveyor and field crew supervisor, he was responsible for the calculation and layout of over two thousand pilings at the Beach Tower in Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. He is currently responsible for construction surveying, boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Eric is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

Keith Chee-A-Tow has five decades of land surveying experience and oversees Avirom & Associates’ Monroe County operations, while also serving clients from the Boca Raton office. Prior to joining Avirom & Associates in 1989, Keith Chee-A-Tow built eighteen years of survey experience in the Bahamas while working for his father’s firm, Chee-A-Tow & Co., Ltd. He became a Florida registered surveyor in January of 1994. Keith is responsible for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, hydrographic surveys, GPS surveys, aerial mapping and expert witness testimony. He is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors, National Society of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Geographic and Land Information Systems. Keith is one of the firm’s pilots licensed with the FAA with a SUAS rating (Remote Pilot).

Keith also serves as a Guest Lecturer at FAU, speaking on the subject of the “Legal Aspects of Land Surveying”.

John Doogan has been a member of the Avirom & Associates team since 1999 and brings four decades of relevant survey experience to each project undertaking. He has been a Florida registered surveyor since July of 1987 and became certified in Geographic Information System from Florida Atlantic University in June of 2003. He is currently responsible for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, GPS surveys and expert witness testimony. John is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

David graduated with an Engineering Technician Degree from KAW Technical School in Topeka, Kansas in 1982. His managerial and survey experience extends over 30 years and includes all aspects of land surveying including boundary, aerial control, topography and construction. He utilizes his experience in a supervisory position within the heavy construction development field, including but not limited to land development, roads, golf courses and special design projects for parks and recreation.

Marisha Kreitman began working for Avirom & Associates as a draftsperson in 1994. She advanced herself to become a Survey Technician while attending classes at Florida Atlantic University. In 2005, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from FAU with a degree in Geography: Geographic Information System. Marisha became a Florida Registered Surveyor in July of 2006. She is responsible for boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Marisha is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

She is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Professional Land Surveyors and Secretary of the Indian River Chapter of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors. As a senior member of the firm’s Stuart office, Paige has established her credentials and professional acumen on projects throughout the Martin County and South Florida regions.
